To paddle my canoe in the predawn mist is one of the highlights of my summer. Each morning during recent a four day camping trip on Raquette Lake I was on the lake hoping to capture the sun rising over the horizon, the early rays of light cutting through the mist and reflecting onto the lake. It was not until the last day that the conditions were what I hoped for, and I captured these images.
