It is exciting for me to explore the woodlands around Upstate New York in the Spring. I was a bit late this year, missing peak time for the early blooms, but I was able to find a couple trillium and trout lily. These were taken with a Canon 60D and a Tamron 17 - 50 mm lens at ISO 100 and processed in Adobe Lightroom 4.3.
